About Us
Our work began in 2018 with one small house and three rooms for rent, created in response to a simple truth: people need safe housing before they can stabilize, heal, or plan for the future. Since then, the program has grown into a multi-tier housing model operating across 19 buildings, designed to support people through different stages of stability and toward long-term housing security.
The C26 Program intentionally removes common barriers to entry by allowing individuals with no income to access safe, all-inclusive housing. From there, participants can move into room rentals or independent apartments as income and readiness change. Movement through the program is flexible and non-punitive, recognizing that progress is not linear and that people’s circumstances can shift over time.
Rather than enforcing rigid timelines or expectations, the model allows for fluid movement within the system, supporting residents in making transitions that reflect their needs, capacity, and goals—without fear of losing housing.
This pathway leads to the Keys Program, where residents are supported in building stability and readiness for long-term housing and eventual homeownership.
As the home of a four-tier housing system, we center dignity, choice, and equity—creating housing that responds to real lives, not just eligibility criteria.
Mission
Our mission is to provide individuals experiencing housing instability with the tools and support needed to overcome barriers and secure independent housing.
